Hi, I’m JENNY VO Trainer at MOVEMNT TRAINING.

My “why” behind being a coach is to help others build resiliency throughout life. For the past decade, I have been connecting with others through mindful movement. From coaching swim teams, to serving local underserved communities through county and city parks, to teaching other bachelor students and community college students to instruct others to move, to making a personal impact in a few dozen families. Being a coach is the best job in the world to me because I get to help others become better versions of themselves. Not just for them, but for their loved ones. Hence I train under the name “Jenerational Health and Fitness”.

I have my Masters of Science in Kinesiology with a specialty in Psychophysiology, and my Bachelors of Science is in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. I received both of my degrees from Cal State Northridge. I have certifications through Functional Movement Screen 1 and Girls Gone Strong Menopause Coaching Specialist. 

I train and educate my clients while making it fun. Moving well and moving strong is my mindset when it comes to training. No matter what your health, fitness and performance goals are- I believe everyone has to have a strong foundation. Just like building a house. You’ll see our training sessions structure around mobility, core, power, strength and aerobic conditioning. I meet you where you are at, you just got to show up. 

A Little More About Me:

In my free time I love being by a campfire with a hot coffee, on my paddle board on some lake, playing mermaids in a body of water, spending time with my loved ones or enjoying a nice seared steak! 

I have been really blessed to have the best mentors. While I was learning to navigate life with an autoimmune disease in 2016, my fitness coach at the time helped shape my mindset on life. I had built mental strength through lifting weights and aerobic training and it carried into my everyday life. Making hard things easier. I got into remission Fall of 2019 thanks to having mindful movement, nourishing nutrition and the right people around me. I hope to be a helpful light to those who may be in the darkness.
